NetSupport sometimes will not allow websites to go through and will redirect right back to the "Allowed Websites" page. If this happens, go to command prompt and PING the website URL. For example when you PING www.cnn.com you get a domain name of cnn-cop.gslb.vgtf.net. Add the domain name that you receive in command prompt to the "Allowed Websites" section. Also the NetSupport version for Windows 7 is version 11.

I spoke with NetSupport earlier today. They mentioned that 10.5 is for XP and that we should upgrade to 11. I asked him for the .exe for 11 and he sent that my way. I also updated the MIS > Software folder with NetSupport 11.

They also mentioned that for some websites that redirect you may have to ping the URL and also add their domain to your "Approved Websites" list. He provided me with some information and would like to see if the links would work if you added these following urls/domains to your list.

    www.cnn.com
    cnn-cop.gslb.vgtf.net

    www.msnbc.com
    a8169.b.akamaiedge.net

    Let me know, thank you!
